Position description

Lecturer in Classics Program to teach Arabic. Primary duties are to teach eight (8) courses over three quarters, with the possibility of renewal. In addition to teaching duties, the instructor must hold a minimum of three regularly scheduled office hours per week to provide students with the opportunity for consultation outside of the classroom. Applicant must have a M.A. or a PhD. or be A.B.D, in Arabic or related field. Applicant should have experience teaching Modern Standard Arabic as a second language at the college level and the ability to teach one colloquial dialect of Arabic.
