The Department of Cell Biology and Human Anatomy at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine seeks to fill two tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate level. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D degree, and have a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience, during which he/she has built a record of research creativity, independence, and productivity. While the campus has many areas of excellence, our department has particular strengths in Vision Research and Stem Cell Biology. Candidates whose work involves these or other areas of campus strength, and explores mechanisms of human disease, will be viewed most favorably.

The campus has exceptional strength in the biological sciences, and was recently ranked 16th in the nation for extramural research funding.
