The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the UC Davis Health School of Medicine and the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center are seeking a full-time Academic Hematologist/ Oncologist at the Associate or Full Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP), Professor of Clinical (X), Professor (Regular/Ladder Rank series) and/or the In Residence Professor series.
The Director of Supportive Oncology and Survivorship will work with the pediatric and adult oncology programs to address the needs of the increasing cancer survivor’s spanning pediatric and adult populations. The Director of Supportive Oncology and Survivorship is a senior clinical and administrative leader within an NCI-designated cancer center, responsible for developing, integrating, and overseeing comprehensive survivorship services across the cancer continuum. The Director will lead multidisciplinary teams, foster clinical innovation and research, advance education and training, and collaborate closely with disease-site programs, hospital operations, and community partners to improve outcomes, experience, and quality of life for people with cancer.
The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is a dynamic growing team comprised of eight specialty physicians and two nurse practitioners. The division provides care to 100-120 new pediatric oncology patients per year and participates in the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a federally funded cooperative dedicated to the treatment of childhood cancers.

Qualified applicants must possess an MD or DO, with a California professional license or eligible for licensure in California, with preferred training in Medicine and Pediatrics, and fellowship trained in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, board eligible/certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology, possess excellent clinical care skills in all areas of hematology-oncology, with a special focus on survivorship. Experience in a clinical or academic setting that includes clinical care, teaching, and research that would meet requirements for appointment at the Associate, or Full Professor level in one of the University of California’s clinically intensive academic series including the Professor (Regular/Ladder Rank series), In Residence Professor series, Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series is preferred but not required.
