The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time Clin X/In-Residence/Ladder rank professor within the field of health services research at the Associate/Full Professor rank (commensurate with credentials).

The successful candidate will be expected to perform teaching, research, and university and public service with expertise in research education and training, clinical research, and implementation science. Specific duties will include conducting clinical research and/or implementation science funded by extramural sources, including submitting grant or contract proposals for such research.

Specific duties will also include leading research education and training for medical trainees. Teaching duties will include informal lectures, formal seminars, supervision in research settings, and/or mentoring of trainees, including students, residents, and fellows.

We welcome scholars with research and teaching strengths in implementation science, health services research, clinical trials, community engagement, qualitative research, and interdisciplinary and mixed methods research.

The UC Davis Children’s Hospital is based on the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento, California and serves a population of over 1 million children in the Northern California, Central Valley and Western Nevada regions. Sacramento is an easily accessible, family-oriented city in close proximity to the San Francisco Bay area, Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the California coast, and Napa Valley.
