Tenure-track position in Microeconomic Theory . Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level. Ph.D. and evidence of outstanding research and teaching required. This is a full-time (100% FTE) position with a proposed starting date of July 1, 2024.

If an applicant does not include the signed authorization with the application materials, the application will be considered incomplete, and as with any incomplete application, will not receive further consideration. Although all applicants for faculty recruitments must complete the entire application, only finalists considered for Academic Senate Assistant Professor or Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment, Steps 4, 5, or 6, or Acting Professor of Law positions or Academic Senate positions eligible for tenure or security of employment will be subject to reference checks.
A Ph.D. in Economics
Teaching experience is required for this position and the applicant should have a demonstrable interest in teaching. The department will evaluate the quality of the applicant’s research, based on the criteria established in the above position description, and the likelihood of scholarship that contributes to developments in the field.
