The Environmental Toxicology offers a temporary Lecturer position in –Survey in Forensic Science, FOR 289.
Analytical methods in contemporary forensic science. Clandestine laboratories in California, crime scene management, examination and analysis of human hair, forensic ballistics/trajectory reconstruction, shoe/tire print impressions, serial number restoration, forensic aspects of alcohol impairment, bloodstain pattern interpretation, microscopy of building materials, and biological aspect of forensic science.
APPOINTMENT DATE: Service periods are:
Winter Quarter 2019: January 4 to March 22, 2019
Teach approximately 1/3rd (10 hours) of the graduate course in Survey in Forensic Science, FOR 289.
Appropriate professional degree, e.g., doctorate or master’s degree (or 30 units of graduate coursework); demonstrated teaching ability; a developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to the subject area of the course.
Temporary lecturers are selected to fill specialized positions that require professional as well as academic expertise.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
