Position description

The Department of Radiology at the University of California--Davis seeks to hire two (2) full-time faculty members at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical Radiology series, rank and series will be dependent on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Qualified candidates must possess an M.D. degree and be certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology; completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology; possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology; clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including imaging of the brain, head and neck, spine, and pediatric neuroimaging; experience in caring for Neuroradiology patients; experience in and ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows; possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of California; and have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. Expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques such as DTI, fMRI, MR spectroscopy, and perfusion imaging is required.

For Clinical Radiology series, candidates must have the ability and experience to conduct scholarly, clinical, and/or translational research.
