The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis is looking to hire two abdominal imaging radiologists either at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience and credentials) in the Professor of Clinical Radiology or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.
Qualified candidates must possess a MD or DO degree, be fellowship trained or undergoing training in abdominal imaging, eligible for licensure in the State of California, and board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging including MR, CT, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopic studies is required.
Scholarly or creative activity is required. Depending on their level of interest in performing research, the successful candidate may join our clinician/educator track or our clinician/research track with protected administration time incorporated into each track.
The Abdominal Imaging Division currently has 11 faculty, and 3 fellows. The Department is equipped with 7 clinical MR scanners, 6 CT scanners, 2 PET-CT scanners, and 17 Ultrasound units. Some division members also perform CT & US guided abdominal interventional procedures, and some participate in complex 2nd & 3rd trimester obstetric ultrasound.
