These one unit courses will occur in various quarters across the Fall, Winter and Spring of the 2018-2019 academic year and will consists of 2 five our sessions on a Sunday to be determined.
Positions are contingent on funding and pending administrative approval. Salary is based on ability and experience.
Minimum Qualifications: demonstrated experience in teaching communications in higher education, preferably at the graduate level; demonstrated experience in teaching or training in critical thinking skills in higher education, preferably at the graduate level; demonstrated experience either working in a corporate environment where communication and critical thinking skills are highly valued or conducting research on communications and critical thinking in a University setting; must have the legal right to accept work in the United States. In lieu of a PhD degree, we will also consider applicants with extensive relevant work experience.

Unit 18 Lecturers are governed under a collective bargaining agreement (American Federation of Teachers (AFT) - Non-Senate Instructional Unit). Under this contract, once a lecturer accumulates enough quarters of service, the lecturer can be reviewed for a Continuing Lecturer position.
