Health Sciences Assistant/ Associate Clinical Professor in Integrated Care
The University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for a Health Sciences Assistant/ Associate Clinical Professor in the clinician/teaching series to serve as a teaching attending in Federally Qualified Health Clinics (FQHC) and in a correctional setting. This person will be providing direct clinical care and will be supervising psychiatry residents and medical students with their cases. Qualified candidates must possess a Medical Degree, be Board eligible in general psychiatry and possess a California Medical License. Experience in teaching and supervising residents and medical students is required. The successful applicant must have clinical and teaching experience in integrated care and have demonstrated skills in working with primary care physicians. This position will be involved in the development of new clinical programs using an integrative and collaborative care approach. The Department of Psychiatry has approximately 60 residents in six residency training programs and 90 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists. The Department provides a stimulating teaching and academic environment and serves a culturally diverse population.

This recruitment is conducted at the Assistant/Associate rank. The selected candidate will be hired at the Assistant/Associate rank, regardless of the proposed appointee's qualifications.
