The University of California, Davis school of law is recruiting for one-tenure track or tenured position in the area of business law to begin July 1, 2018. We seek applications from candidates with scholarly distinction or promise and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Although no specific formal background is essential, the candidate’s education and employment history must demonstrate the potential for excellence in law teaching and legal scholarship. Law review participation, academic performance, judicial clerkships, legal practice experience, publications, and teaching experience, as well as other indicia, are relevant factors in evaluating such potential.
