Dr. Rulli with the Philosophy Department at the University of California, Davis seeks to fill a part-time research assistant position at the Junior Specialist level starting Spring 2017. This position is for 3 months. There may be a possibility for extension depending on funding. The successful candidates will perform literature review and write an annotated bibliography for a faculty member research project in relation to a research grant.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
• Under supervision, will perform a literature review and write an annotated bibliography for a faculty member research project in relation to a research grant.
• 100% time spent searching online and publication databases for journal articles relevant to research project; reading articles; summarizing articles in an annotated bibliography
Position qualifications include:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Bioethics, or related field. Ability to identify normative/moral issues in bioethics research; reading and writing skills; critical analysis skills; experience with word processing
Salary: Step I - $17.99/hour
