Position description

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is currently recruiting for one full-time faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointees to the Health Sciences Clinical series are required to teach, participate in university service and provide direct patient care.

Applicants must have M.D. degree, be Board Certified or eligible in Rheumatology, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Candidates must have a record of clinical care in the management of soft tissue rheumatism as well as autoimmune diseases. A strong background or clinical training in immunology is highly desirable. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.
