Position description

The Department of Statistics at UC Davis is recruiting for a full-time faculty position in Statistics or a related field. Individuals with a Ph.D. in all areas of Statistics will be considered. Individuals specializing in statistical methods for large and complex or massive data are especially encouraged to apply. The start date for this position is July 1, 2016.

UC Davis offers many opportunities for collaborations involving large and complex data that include a medical school, a veterinary school, a neuroimaging center, and programs in the fields of Atmospheric Sciences, Cosmology, Genetics/Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Earth & Planetary Sciences, and Psychology. The Department of Statistics offers a graduate program in Statistics and a Biostatistics Graduate Group (for more information see: http://www-stat.ucdavis.edu/).
