Position description

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full time academic position as an Assistant/Associate Adjunct Professor. Appointees to this series are required to engage in research, teaching, and University and public service.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree and post-doctoral research experience. The successful candidate will be a basic scientist with a record of achievement in bench research related to basic renal physiology, renal cancer, and/or hereditary renal disease. Demonstrated research experience including publications and extramural funding is required. Candidates must have the interest in and ability to teaching undergraduate and graduate students and to mentor post-doctoral fellows. Candidates must possess the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
