The University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for a Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in the clinician/teaching series to serve as a teaching attending in its Outpatient Clinic. The appointment is in the health sciences clinical professor series. The applicant will be supervising child and adolescent psychiatry residents and general psychiatry residents with their child and adolescent cases. The candidate will also evaluate and treat their own patients. Experience in teaching and supervising residents and medical students is required. Board certification in general psychiatry and completion of a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship are required. Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is highly desired. A California Medical license is required. The Department of Psychiatry has approximately 50 residents in six residency training programs and 80 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists. The Department’s Outpatient Clinic has approximately 15,000 patient visits per year.
