The Department of Neurology, University of California, Davis, is seeking two board eligible/certified general neurologists for full time positions. The positions will be faculty in the UC Davis School of Medicine with offices and clinics located in Sacramento, California, and potentially with neighboring UCDHS satellite clinics.
Positions are at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, in the Health Science Clinical Professor or Clinical Neurology series. The ideal candidate will be required to engage in clinical care, clinical teaching, outpatient teleneurology, clinical research, (depending on series), and University/public service. A clear emphasis of these positions is clinical activity and may include clinical research. Subspecialty interests are welcome and may be integrated, yet are not mandatory. The successful candidate must possess an MD degree, training/experience in neurology, possess a valid California Medical license or be eligible for licensure in the State of California. The level of appointment will be commensurate with credentials.
Responsibilities will include: teaching medical students and house staff, neurology clinical care, and may include research; the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
