The University of California, Davis, Department of Neurology is seeking two board eligible/certified cerebrovascular neurologist for a full time faculty position in the UC Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, CA.

These positions are at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical Neurology series. The faculty members will become members of a team of multidisciplinary neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists and intensivists in caring for critically ill neurology and neurosurgery patients in the Neuroscience ICU. S/he will also be key members of the acute stroke team and participate in the assessment and treatment of acute stroke patients in-house and through our UCDHS Teleneurology network. Ideal candidates should have completed an ACGME approved residency program in neurology, board certified or eligible in Cerebrovascular Medicine. It is desirable that candidates have clinical interest in neurocritical care, teaching and research. Candidates with a combined clinical interest in critical care medicine and stroke neurology are preferred. Strong candidates for this position will participate in clinical care, teaching, and research. A valid California medical license or be eligible for licensure in the State of California is required.
