The Department of Sociology at the University of California, Davis, offers temporary Lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses during the 2023-2024 academic year. These positions are dependent upon the instructional needs of the department and may be full- or part-time.
APPOINTMENT DATES: Assignments vary according to type of course and percentage of appointment. Service periods are:
Fall Quarter 2023 September 25 – December 15
Winter Quarter 2024 January 5 – March 22
Spring Quarter 2024 March 28 – June 13
QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated experience in teaching at the college level, and advanced degree in Sociology or related discipline is required.
SALARY: This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement (Unit 18). The annual salary rate for this position is $64,329.00, and is commensurate with percentage of appointment.
