The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in allergy and clinical immunology. Faculty in the HSCP series are expected to engage in teaching, participate in university and public service, scholarly or creative work, provide direct patient care and demonstrate professional competence.
The successful candidate will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and serve as a core faculty member in the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship program. Candidates are expected to have a strong record of clinical care in the full range of allergic and immunologic disorders. The incumbent will provide teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows. The candidate will participate in appropriate professional societies and educational organizations. They will provide service to the department and school committees. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required. Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures is also required.
This recruitment is conducted at the assistant/associate rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant/associate rank, regardless of the proposed appointee's qualifications.
