Position description
The Department of Radiology at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for two full time radiologists to provide clinical coverage at the UC Davis Health Point West Clinic located on 1535 River Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95815 or at the Placer Center for Health located on 550 West Ranch View Drive, Suite 2005, Rocklin, CA 95765. Candidates will be considered for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) Series at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank (commensurate with experience and credentials). Expectations for the HSCP series include providing patient care, engaging in public and University service, and participating in teaching and scholarly or creative work opportunities.
The candidate will be involved in clinical service activities that are based on their training and may include CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and plain films. Clinical services will be provided at the Point West or Placer Center for Health location. Clinical coverage and call opportunities at the Medical Center in Sacramento, CA will also be expected.
Qualified candidates with experience in clinical operations, multiple years of clinical experience after fellowship training, and interest in mentorship and teaching will be considered for a Director role. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations at the Point West Clinic or Placer Center for Health, including scheduling, serving as the point of contact for inquiries and concerns, and working collaboratively with other faculty and division chiefs to improve workflow.

Qualifications
M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
CA Medical License or eligible for licensure in the state of California
Board certified or board eligible in Radiology
Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Cardiothoracic, or Abdominal Imaging is preferred, but not required.
Qualified candidates with experience in clinical operations, multiple years of clinical experience after fellowship training, and interest in mentorship and teaching will be considered for a Director role.
