Position description

The Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies Program at UC Davis is looking for an instructor to teach WMS 170: Queer Studies in Winter 2022. This class is scheduled to meet in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:10 to 6 pm.

Applicants should submit a CV, a cover letter explaining, how the course will be organized and delivered, how you will publicize the course, your teaching experience in Women and Gender Studies, and how this course may help in your future plans;
the contact information for two references; and at least one set of teaching evaluations through the online application system.

For full consideration applications should be completed by November 3, 2021. The position is open until filled and all classes are subject to enrollments.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

We are looking for recent Ph.Ds and/or graduate students who have advanced to candidacy (ABD). We will prioritize those graduate students who have
worked closely in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program at Davis and/or the field of women and gender studies more broadly and have
strong teaching experience.
