Position description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Davis Health seeks to recruit a full-time Urogynecologist. The position will be recruited at the Assistant, Associate or Professor Rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical X series based on experience and qualifications.

The applicant is expected to participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment and management of the urogynecology patients both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Applicants must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and be able to adhere to policies and procedures. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Applicants must have completed an accredited fellowship in FPMRS and be subspecialty board certified or eligible.

Successful candidate will have experience in FPMRS outpatient care including clinical operation procedures and surgery with oversight of residents and fellows.

Experience having direct involvement with students, residents and fellows in core curriculum and clinical teaching is required. Applicant must have experience with training residents and medical students.

Applicants must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment and be able to adhere to policies and procedures. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
