The successful candidate will have broad experience in organic synthesis and will be responsible for designing and executing the synthesis of organic molecules as part of a collaborative project with another UC campus. Experience with the multistep synthesis, purification and characterization (NMR, MS) of organic compounds required. The scholar will take a leadership role on the collaborative project while also taking part in the day-to-day operations of the laboratory with graduate and undergraduate student researchers.
PhD in chemistry is required for this position.
