Department of Theatre and Dance
POSITION: The Department of Theatre and Dance is searching for a lecturer to teach during the Winter 2020 quarter, January 6th, 2020 through March 20th, 2020.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Dance or Performance Studies (or related field) and university teaching experience. MFA or MA and teaching experience in the appropriate field at university level considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching DRA 142—History of Modern Dance M W 12:10 - 2:00pm. 4 unit Lecture/Discussion exploring modern dance traditions, focusing on theorizations of individual and social identity. Students will write and choreograph analyses of principal dances in this tradition. GE credit: Arts and Humanities, Visual Literacy, Writing Experience.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
