Applications are invited for a Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment or Lecturer with Security of Employment position in the department of Chemical Engineering at UC Davis. The successful candidates will be outstanding educators and should provide evidence of effective and innovative teaching in chemical and/or biochemical engineering. In addition to teaching courses, candidates are expected to lead the development and assessment of a new Master of Engineering (MEng) program in Chemical Engineering. The successful candidate will provide guidance to help match students into suitable projects, oversee these projects in the MEng program, and focus on both adding to the high quality of this program and on broadening the diversity of the student body in the program and department.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field and be committed to excellence in teaching and pedagogical development. We expect the candidates to be able to teach any of the courses in the chemical engineering curricula on the undergraduate and graduate level.
