Lecturer of Italian
Position description
The Department of French and Italian seeks a part-time lecturer in Italian for the spring quarter of the academic year 2018-19. Teaching duties include one elementary Italian language course (ITA 3). Candidates must have exposure to foreign language pedagogy and experience teaching college-level Italian language courses. Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom is a plus. The position requires native or near-native proficiency in both Italian and English. Applicants should possess a minimum of an MA or equivalent foreign degree in an appropriate field. A PhD is strongly preferred.
