Academic Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon
The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health located in Sacramento, California, seeks to fill up to 2, full-time Academic Trauma Surgeon positions at the assistant or associate professor level in the Health Science Clinical Professor, Clinical X, or In-Residence series.
The selected candidate(s) will contribute to the growth of the educational, research and clinical missions of the surgical programs at UC Davis Health. Expected responsibilities include teaching; both inpatient and outpatient, clinical care, resident and fellow teaching, research related to trauma services and participation in the trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care team conferences. The Incumbent(s) will work collaboratively and integrate with our strong community partners.
Qualified candidates must possess a Medical Degree; and be eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery in both Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. All candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
Candidates must be able to obtain a California Medical License before the start date.
Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
