Academic Plastic Surgeon – Microsurgery/Breast
The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System located in Sacramento, California, seeks to fill a full-time Academic Plastic Surgeon position with a specialty in Breast reconstruction and Microsurgery. The position will be recruited at the assistant or associate professor level in the Health Science Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series. UC Davis is a large volume Level I Trauma Hospital with an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Level I Children's Surgical Center.
The selected candidate will have responsibilities in this distinguished service, which includes reconstructive plastic, trauma, and subspecialty surgical services. Duties include; teaching, both resident and fellow instruction, clinical care - both inpatient and outpatient – and research.
Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree, be board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery, fellowship trained in Microsurgery, and a California Medical License before the start date. All candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
