Position description

The University of California, Davis, Graduate School of Management invites applications for a position in business analytics at the assistant, associate, and full professor level (tenure-track). Applicants from all areas of business analytics will be considered. Applicants at the associate and full professor level are expected to have demonstrated ability to contribute to institution and program development.

The successful candidate will join a highly active and multidisciplinary group of faculty with research interests spanning various aspects of business analytics. The GSM has an established top-50 MBA program, and has recently launched a new Master of Science in Business Analytics program
(https://gsm.ucdavis.edu/msba-masters-science-business-analytics), with strong connections to Silicon Valley and classes in San Francisco. The selected candidate is expected to play a major role in the functioning, growth and improvement of the MSBA program. Teaching responsibilities may span the MBA and MSBA programs. Recent graduates should show strong potential for top quality, innovative, and high-impact research in business analytics. Experienced candidates should have a record of high quality published or in-process research consistent with their experience. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or expect to have completed a Ph.D. by the start of employment.
