Functional Neurosurgery and Epilepsy Position
The University of California, Davis, Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking applicants for three open positions in our faculty at the Assistant, Associate, Full Professor levels in the In Residence or Clinical X series. General neurosurgical experience and expertise will be expected of all applicants. Successful candidates will have the foundation, preparation, and vision to pursue a productive career in academic neurosurgery that incorporates patient care, teaching and research. They must possess the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment, that fosters team science and multidisciplinary patient care. Qualifications that might warrant a joint appointment in Neurology, the Center for Neurosciences, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, the Comprehensive Cancer Center, Biomedical Engineering, or the Center for Mind and Brain would be a significant advantage. The JPF00122 position vacancy focuses in Functional Neurosurgery and Epilepsy: Requires Fellowship training in the surgical management of epilepsy and deep brain stimulation for the treatment of movement and other functional disorders. She/he will have research interest in the electrophysiological evaluation of neuronal oscillatory circuitry in the pathophysiology and regulation of neurological function.
